Arkey Blue - You're a Good Boy

Mr. Handsome loves the camera and was ready to pose tonight!

Arkey became a part of our family in 2018 at 8 weeks old. We drove from Texas to Missouri to pick up him up and the whole way home Arkey had a smug confidence that he had picked the right family and was ready for whatever was next. I'm glad he likes us. Darin even found him a yellow fire hydrant for his first pitstop, but he refused to use it because they had not covered it specifically in Aussie departure traning I'm sure.

Arkey tries so hard to be good. Sometimes he gets in trouble during Dove season (he doesn't like guns) and 4th of July (he's not a fan of fireworks) but other than that he is Mr. Smooth Waters and along for the ride. That's what I love most about him - that he is laidback and ready to please. Don't get me wrong, he's a good petting dog and easy on the eyes, but it is what is inside him that counts most of all. You're a good boy, Arkey Blue!
